I made a cool toiletries bag for my mom.

The bag from the side. It is a white nylon ripstop on the outside and sail on the inside. And it has a nice woven ribbon for the handle. My mom made that ribbon.

The construction with the sailcloth liner served as an attempt to strengthen the construction to make it stand open and upright better. The sailcloth is a bit thicker and pretty stiff, compared to the outer layer of ripstop.

I have since made her a new version out of the transparent tarp material. This offers a bit more stiffness, and the see-through nature is also very well-suited for a toiletry bag. This original version was still not really stiff enough to nicely stay upright, according to my mom. We'll find a nice alternative application for this one, though.
